Own The Conversation - Issue 107
A Little Chaos... and How I’m Trying to Simplify Things | Own The Conversation Issue #107
Colleagues,
I’ll admit it—I feel like I’ve created my own chaos.
Here’s the breakdown:
Over the past 4 years, I’ve been experimenting with multiple ways to share content with you. As a result, I’ve built a few different channels, but keeping everything up-to-date has become a bit overwhelming. That’s why I’m refocusing my efforts to find a format that works best—not just for me, but for you.
The goal? A more streamlined, regular newsletter focused on Conversational AI careers, where you can easily stay up-to-date on the latest jobs, events, and resources.
Here’s a quick look at what’s happening beyond the Bot Jobs job board:
🌐 The Newsletter
You’re reading it right now! This newsletter is where I try to bring everything together—job listings, upcoming events, and career content all related to Conversational AI (CAI). My goal is to offer a consolidated space where you can catch up on all things CAI without the noise.
📰 LinkedIn Newsletter
I’ve been using LinkedIn to post weekly job lists sourced directly from the job board. This channel has been great for those who are already active on LinkedIn and prefer to get updates there. However, I’m considering whether it’s still the best use of my time and your attention.
👾 Reddit Group
If you’re a Reddit enthusiast, you might have noticed that jobs are auto-posted to our dedicated subreddit. It’s been a great experiment, but I want to better understand if this platform is truly adding value for the community.
📥 Downloadable Content and Challenges
This is something I’m really excited about—a space where I can host exclusive resources, templates, and career challenges. The goal is to provide actionable tools that can help you level up your skills and career. It’s still a work in progress, but I’m eager to hear your feedback on what you’d like to see here.
What’s Next?
My focus now is to figure out what you find most helpful. My plan is to continue experimenting and refining these channels to create a regular, consistent format that truly serves your needs. I want to make sure the content I’m putting out there is as valuable and accessible as possible.
And this is where I need your help! Your feedback is invaluable—whether it’s about which channels you prefer, what type of content you’d like to see, or how often you’d like updates. Please reply or comment and let me know your thoughts.
Thanks for being part of this journey. I’m excited to continue building something that helps you thrive in the world of Conversational AI.
Warm regards,
Martyn
