I wanted to start off by apologising for the hiatus in our newsletter. The past few weeks have been challenging for me with some personal priorities taking over, but I'm back and ready to dive back into the world of Conversational AI with you.
In this issue of Own The Conversation, I'm excited to bring you some exciting news and insights about careers, jobs, and events in this fast-evolving field. With the excitement around the rise of AI-powered chatbots, virtual assistants, and more, there's never been a better time to explore the opportunities and challenges in this space.
I'll be sharing some practical tips and strategies to help you stay ahead of the curve, along with some exciting job opportunities and events to network at.
As an aside, Bot Jobs is now starting to index and post jobs within Generative AI (71 Jobs) and Prompt Engineering (12 Jobs). It’s really exciting to see entirely new categories of jobs being created and the speed that they are coming to market.
This week, I was honoured to be invited as a keynote speaker by Landing.Jobs at their Tech Hiring Community Conference, where I shared my thoughts on the advantages and risks of using AI in Recruitment and Talent Acquisition.
However, the most fascinating part of the event was hearing from the Tech Hiring community in Portugal about how the market looks there - roles, salaries, hybrid vs remote work etc.
